Two Year International Warranty.

Your FAUST watch is warranted by FAUST for a period of two years from the original date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The FAUST warranty covers materials and manufacturing defects. The warranty comes into effect if you have a copy of the invoice, this is required for proof of purchase.
During the warranty period, the watch movement, hands, and dial are the only
components covered under this warranty. If the covered component proves to be defective in material or craftsmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges. In case of replacement, FAUST cannot guarantee that you will receive the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value and similar style will be provided.
The warranty for the replacement watch ends two years from the date the replacement watch is received.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Any defects in materials and workmanship of battery, case, crystal, strap, or bracelet.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
  • Defect of internal or external components due to contact with water or moisture.

This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised FAUST sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The foregoing warranties and remedies are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, terms or conditions, express, implied or statutory, as to any matter whatsoever, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, satisfactory quality, title, and non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed by FAUST. FAUST watches shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special
or punitive damages, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of this product, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or any other theory, even if FAUST has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any limited remedy specified herein is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose. FAUST entire liability shall be limited to replacement or repair of the purchase price paid, at FAUST sole option.
Some countries, states, or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and exclusions may be limited in their application to you. When implied warranties may not be excluded in their entirety, they will be limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that may vary depending on local law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

01. How robust is a FAUST watch?

Our watches are designed to be worn everyday. However, activities that involve very strong vibrations and repeated impacts should be avoided when wearing a FAUST watch. Repeated sharp impacts can have a negative effect on the watch movement or cause permanent damage.

02. What if condensation appears under the glass lens?

If your watch experiences a sudden change in temperature or pressure, slight condensation may appear under the sapphire lens. This mist should disappear by itself if the watch is left to sit in a cool, dry place for several hours and there should be no adverse effect on the watch’s function. If condensation persists, please contact us.

03. How water resistant is a FAUST watch?

The water resistance of a FAUST watch is always stated in atmospheric bars (ATM) on the case back of the watch. This rating is a measure of static pressure that the watch is able to withstand. This does not directly translate to water resistance at a certain depth (i.e. 100 metres) below sea level, which is used elsewhere in the watch industry for dive watch ratings.
ATM water resistance is purely a measure of resistance to pressure (i.e. how well the watch unit is sealed) and does not take into account the presence of moisture or water or the activity or environment the watch is being used in, which could affect and exceed the rated ATM value.
Please note that the water resistance of any watch is not a permanent characteristic. Seals and sealing systems, in particular, are subject to wear and tear and natural ageing.

The following guide outlines acceptable usage for the ATM ratings of our watches:

Avoid contact with water wherever possible. Exposure to high humidity is acceptable.
Avoid wearing the watch whilst showering, swimming, diving or during any other activity where it may be subject to abnormal water pressures or environments where heat and moisture are present.

Exposure to high humidity and light rain showers is acceptable. Avoid wearing the watch whilst showering, swimming, diving or during any other activity where it may be subject to abnormal water pressures or environments where heat and moisture are present.

Activities such as showering, bathing, swimming in a pool and snorkelling are acceptable.
The watch should not be worn whilst diving. Please rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to a chlorinated pool, salt water, soap, etc.
The ATM rating only refers to the watch head and not the strap. Straps made from natural materials such as leather should avoid contact with water or very high humidity atmospheres.

04. Do you sell straps in different sizes?

FAUST straps are designed to fit a wide range of men’s and women’s wrists. Depending on the watch model, our watches will fit wrists with a circumference of approximately 15–21cm.

05. How do I care for my calf leather strap?

FAUST calf leather straps are made from soft, aniline calf leather; they are tanned using chromium and coloured using natural vegetable dyes. Over time and with wear, they will develop an inherent natural patina, including marks and stains, that improves with age.
Our leathers have been chosen for their natural character, which means they may display some scarring or marks. Please note that leather is a natural, porous material so contact with water or solvents should be avoided.

06. Leather allergy

FAUST calf leather straps are chromium-tanned and may, on very rare occasions, cause a reaction. If you have experienced sensitivity or allergic reactions to leather or chromiumtanned products previously, please consult your physician for further advice.

07. Nickel allergy

All stainless steel FAUST watch cases and buckles contain trace amounts of nickel. If you have experienced sensitivity or allergic reactions to metals previously, please consult your physician for further advice.

08. Where can a FAUST watch be serviced or repaired?

For advice on the service or repair of a FAUST watch that is in or out of warranty please contact us with full details of your enquiry here.

09. What does my warranty cover?

Your FAUST watch is warranted for a period of two years from the original date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The FAUST warranty covers materials and manufacturing defects. The warranty comes into effect if you have a copy of the receipt, this is required for proof of purchase. 10. How do I change the strap on my watch?

Changing your watch strap is a quick and easy process that can be undertaken by any watch workshop or jeweller in your area. In most instances, this can be done while you wait.
